Consistency matters. I was in the mood for the same spicy bloody mary I had twice previously. But this time, it was underwhelming. Not even an olive. No spicy rim. The fried cheese curd and corn chowder are exceptional. They certainly skimped on the apple sauce. We asked for more, but were brought more spicy sauce which we had plenty. While my fault, I left my doggy bag on the table. It's a long walk to through the restaurant to the car. When I was a waiter, I made the effort to catch the guests. No attempt here. The place was virtually empty with waitstaff standing around chatting. Great food. Just disappointed in this visit from the bar to the kitchen to the waitstaff. You can do better at 3 pm on a Saturday. Note: originally sent this feedback directly to restaurant with no reply 4 days later.

Union Straw is an amazing restaurant with great staff and kitchen! I visited here with some friends during my trip back home during the holidays. The interior of the restaurant looked really nice and the place was clean. We enjoyed the smokehouse flatbread, house salad, and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. All the food we had was really good. I personally thought the smokehouse flatbread was the best. I definitely will come back to try more next time I’m back in the RI/Mass area!

I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed the food here. The outside of the restaurant and the inside are both clean, pleasing, and unassuming, but as a native Texan, let me tell you, this place knows what they are doing with red meat. My hamburger and my husband's pork ribs (with authentic BBQ sauce) were 10/10, which is not something I find often this far north. The burger just has high-quality red meat, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickle, as God intended. When the ingredients are top quality and cooked right, that is all you need. They let me get a side of lobster meat which was also excellent, and the parmesan truffle fries were crispy, golden-brown, and appropriately dusted with cheese. For dessert we had an ice cream sandwich, but the sandwich was made of waffles and drizzled in chocolate and caramel. Yes, it was as good as it sounds/looks. We came because it was the highest rated place in the vicinity of the stadium, but next time we will come for the food and stay for the game. The cocktails were also quite good (appropriate balance of alcohol and other flavors, strong but not strong just for the sake of it) but I've gone on long enough. Go check it out for yourself! Just go. You'll see. Shout out to our waiter PARKER who was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. You rock, Parker! Hope we get to see you next time.

First timers @ Union Straw but that will quickly change. The service was ON-POINT & the food was exceptional! We had the pleasure of having Brandon as our bartender - #wickedfriendly & knowledgeable. Highly suggest the Honey Buffalo Wings & the Maple Bourbon Burger...
